We built LIOREN because the women in our families were tired of being lied to.
Mothers, sisters, friends — between 38 and 60 — with a shelf full of half-empty bottles from brands that did not earn their place. This is what we made instead.
This space had a trust problem.
Brands selling chemical-burning shampoos under French-sounding names. Brands promising to reverse grey at the cellular level — which no topical can do. Brands offering refunds, but only on unopened bottles, because they knew the bottle would not earn its place once you opened it.
The women in our own families had Trustpilot tabs open on their phones at midnight, second-guessing the next $40 they were about to spend. We watched it happen for two years.
Then we decided to build the brand we wished existed.
